Groove Cruise Announces Cruisin' For Kindness DJ Contest for 2025 Sailing

If you’re an emerging artist looking to make a splash, Groove Cruise has you covered with the chance to play on the upcoming sailing in 2025!

Groove Cruise has been the king of festivals on the high seas for two decades, with consistent sailings that have taken dance music lovers on trips of a lifetime. The upcoming edition of Groove Cruise Miami will set sail to Labadee on January 23-27 with a stacked lineup that includes the likes of Eric Prydz, Meduza, Seven Lions, James Hype, Nicole Moudaber, and possibly even… you?

That’s right! Whet Travel and Dim Mak and additional partners EDM Identity and Neon Owl have teamed up for another round of the annual Groove Cruise Undiscovered DJ Contest. This year’s contest, aptly dubbed Cruisin’ For Kindness, benefits the Whet Foundation and gives aspiring artists their chance to play on the 2025 sailing.

The victorious DJ will receive an opening slot on the Dim Mak stage, an oceanview stateroom for two people, and up to $600 in travel expenses—but that’s just the start of the prizes. They will also receive a guest mix slot on the Dim Mak Studios Radio Show and during an episode on Groove Cruise Radio. The winner will be able to join Whet Travel and Groove Cruise owner and founder Jason Beukema on Facebook Live. And to top it off, EDM Identity will gift them with a buzz package for added editorial and social media support.

Aspiring DJs who are 21+ (or will be 21+ by January 22, 2025) and want to enter this year’s contest can submit a 30-minute video mix via the official form from today until Sunday, October 6 at 12am ET. Cabins for Groove Cruise Miami 2025 are officially sold out, but a waitlist is available for anyone who missed out on their chance to set sail aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas next year.
