Subtronics, Rezz, Liquid Stranger, and Illenium appear on the Decadence 2024 lineup.
After the growing pains associated with this year’s edition of Global Dance Festival, Mile High promoter Global Dance knew they needed to make a statement. They’ve unveiled the official lineup for Decadence 2024, giving EDM fans in and around Colorado ample reason to descend upon the Colorado Convention Center in Denver on December 30-31.
It’s no secret that Denver loves bass music, and the Decadence lineup certainly delivers on it. The name Subtronics is a standout on the bill, as the Philadelphia DJ and producer has been on an absolute tear since before the pandemic. Liquid Stranger, Excision, and Zeds Dead are among the more established names sure to draw fans of the low-end frequencies.
Tiësto is also slated to perform at Decadence 2024. The Dutch superstar first achieved international fame during the trance heyday at the turn of the millennium, and he shifted to big room during the EDM explosion of 2010-2015. His wife, Annika Backes, also grew up in the Mile High City, and he’s an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.
Perhaps no other artist on the Decadence 2024 lineup boasts as much hometown hero cred as Illenium, however. The highly accomplished DJ and producer headlined the highest-attended single-headliner EDM event in the country last year. At Decadence, he’ll play a back-to-back set with Los Angeles duo SLANDER.
Decadence inaugurated in 2012 and helped put the Denver scene on the map as one of the highest-attended New Year’s EDM festivals in the country. It expanded to Arizona in 2014, although Decadence AZ is largely overseen by local promoter Relentless Beats.
