Six Can’t-Miss Sets at CRSSD Festival Fall 2024
Soulwax – Ocean View
Soulwax is undoubtedly one of the sets you must witness at Ocean View. One fact about CRSSD Festival is that its ability to book world-renowned artists is unmatched, and the Belgian duo is carrying on that tradition. You can count on their modular synths and grungy electro sounds to set the festival ablaze. Performing with the full band, Soulwax, and their mind-bending sounds and full-stage production will be a memory to last a lifetime. You will not want to miss this one!
Tinlicker – Ocean View
Dutch duo Tinlicker are prestigious producers in the electronic dance community. The two have earned their legacy in the melodic house and techno space with anthemic tunes like “Because You Move Me,” “Children,” and their most recent release, “Where Did I Go.” Not to mention Tinlicker has graced stages across the globe performing at the world’s largest venues and festivals; however, CRSSD Festival attendees will be treated to a truly memorable set as the duo will perform live.
I can’t think of a better combination than being enchanted by Tinlicker’s dreamy melodic soundscapes while standing in the beautiful San Diego Waterfront Park. Hopefully, at sunset!
Duskus – The Palms
UK producer and multi-instrumentalist Duskus will take over the decks at The Palms for an incredible set. He’s been making waves in the scene with his uplifting and vibey productions, but he just notched a new achievement with his latest release and contributions to “glow” on Fred again..’s album ten days. This is one of the sets you will likely have to get into the venue earlier to catch, but it will be worth it to discover one of your new favorite artists.
Miss Monique – The Palms
Miss Monique brings her hypnotic progressive grooves to Palms, and it will be a set you won’t want to miss. The multi-faceted Ukrainian artist has had a massive couple years rocking sets around the world and is now gracing the stage at CRSSD. A master of her craft and a genuine soul that simply wants to make crowds dance Miss Monique will have will have the crowd bouncing with her rolling bass lines and hard-hitting synths. Having made a name for herself around the globe already she will definitely be leaving San Diego with some new fans.
Jerro – City Steps
Although City Steps is mostly known for its techno, Jerro will likely bring a fresh change of pace with his melodic soundscapes. With a plethora of releases on Lane 8’s label, This Never Happened, as well as countless dreamy collaborations and remixes Jerro’s set will be a block of pure melodic bliss. Not to mention, he recently released a new album, Chromatic, which has been a standout of the year so far. It will be a real treat to hear some of the new songs live and vibe out along the water to some lighter toned music.
Rex The Dog – City Steps
Taking City Steps by storm will be none other than UK producer Rex The Dog. Bringing an unrivaled vibe to the festival, Rex The Dog’s ’80s inspired electro grooves and modular sounds will permeate the minds, bodies, and souls of all those within a speaker’s distance. Anything in his discography is a bop, but his most recent releases, “Song of a Gun” and “Change This Pain For Ecstasy,” are certified dancefloor bangers we can’t wait to hear at the CRSSD Festival. This will be a great set to start your Saturday with to get your dancing legs warmed up.
