Same Same But Different is giving free GA passes to those who purchased tickets to Lucidity Festival as a gesture of goodwill in the community.
The festival community has recently been rocked by many cancelations, including this year’s edition of Lucidity Festival. Originally set to take place in June, the festival’s organizers have unfortunately faced an even steeper uphill battle as they try to navigate an uncertain future. This has left many planning to attend Lucidity Festival without refunds, but all is not lost as Same Same But Different jumped in with a gesture of goodwill.
Today, Same Same But Different announced that they will give all Lucidity Festival ticket holders a free, non-transferable GA pass to the upcoming edition of their festival at Lake Perris, which will take place from September 27 to 29.
“We know how challenging these times can be, especially when the festival experiences we all cherish don’t go as planned,” said the SSBD team. “It’s never easy when something you’ve been looking forward to doesn’t work out, and we understand how much time, energy, and anticipation went into planning for Lucidity. In the spirit of supporting the festival community, the Same Same But Different team came together to explore how we could help.”
It’s important to note that this offer is only meant for Lucidity Festival ticket purchasers who were not refunded their money. Those who purchased multiple tickets for Lucidity under one name will be granted multiple tickets, but they will remain under that same name and the ticket purchaser must be present. If you’re planning to bring a vehicle to SSBD, a parking pass or camping pass must be purchased separately. Additionally, if you held passes for both festivals already, you’re eligible for a free VIP upgrade in place of a GA pass.
Same Same But Different is set to feature performances from Big Gigantic, Ganja White Night, LSDREAM, the Desert Hearts crew, WHIPPED CREAM, Justin Jay, Ravenscoon, Mary Droppinz, A Hundred Drums, and more. Check out the full lineup below.
