San Diego-based DJ and producer Jack Emery dropped off a melodic house-fueled mix in the final weeks of summer to celebrate his debut EP on Purified Records.
Although much of the scene has been moving faster than light, with the sounds of hard techno and drum and bass permeating stages, the chilled-out melodic house and progressive side of the spectrum is still in the hearts of many. Those are the soundscapes that rising producer Jack Emery has championed since first breaking onto the scene.
Jack Emery might be one of the newest artists from San Diego, but he’s already begun to turn heads with his sound from industry tastemakers and platforms like Sirius XM Chill. Last year, he made a grand debut on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records with “Believe.” He’s double-downed on the label this year with the release of his debut EP on the imprint, Fickle Heart, which features two more melodic gems with emotional vocals and dreamy synths that will sweep you off your feet.
To celebrate the release of Fickle Heart, Jack Emery spun up a melodic house-fueled mix that will leave you breathless. Found inside its near-40-minute runtime are some of his recent singles and IDs, along with selections from artists, including Nora En Pure, Le Youth, Otherwish, Kasbo, and more.
