Sammy Virji, Doctor Jeep, and Ahadadream make Boiler Room’s gathering at Civic Center Park in Denver an event not to miss.
A couple months ago, industry-leading DJ set broadcasting platform Boiler Room announced its first event in Denver in seven years. Organizers have now shared the lineup for the September 28 gathering slated to take place at Civic Center Park.
Topping the bill is none other than Sammy Virji, a UK garage phenomenon whose star has been on the rise in recent years. Famous for tracks like “Daga Da” and “Peach” with salute, he’s recently performed at such gatherings as Electric Woodlands Festival, Boardmasters Festival, and his own headline event at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee.
The Boiler Room Denver bill also includes notable artists Ahadadream and Despise. The former artist is draws from his Pakistani roots to deliver an eclectic take on dance music. The latter is a Denver local who heads up the drum and bass outfit Recon DNB.
Doctor Jeep is an unexpected billing; his challenging style of electronic music will appeal to all the true heads in attendance. Hudson Mohawke as well as a back-to-back set between Nikki Nair and Introspekt round out the Boiler Room Denver lineup.
The event will run from 4pm-10pm MT. Civic Center Park is a prime location; surrounded by the Denver Capitol building, City Hall, and Denver’s recognizable skyline, it has also recently played host to events like Regenerate Festival and Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats July 4th Backyard Jamboree.
Boiler Room recently courted controversy for hosting a show in Seoul that many suspect was oversold. Crowd congestion forced organizers to evacuate the event before its headliner, Peggy Gou, was able to take the stage.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 16 at 10am MT. Sign up for final access via the Boiler Room website.
