mau5trap.tv is the new home for all things deadmau5, including live streams, merch, unreleased tracks, and other exclusive experiences.
Resting is something that deadmau5 hasn’t been doing much of this year. Fans of the legendary artist have been treated to a number of festival sets, including a standout performance at Tomorrowland as REZZMAU5 with Rezz, and he’s also taken over the Hollywood Bowl and Brooklyn Mirage for incredible retro5pective showcases. This summer saw deadmau5 heat things up even more with the release of some ep, and now he’s announced his latest venture, mau5trap.tv.
mau5trap.tv is a new digital destination for superfans of deadmau5 and mau5trap powered by Ampd.fm. The spiritual successor to other platforms that deadmau5 called home over the years, this hub will be the most direct way to connect with him, stay updated on upcoming sets and tour announcements, catch future live streams, and hear the latest and greatest tunes he’s crafted in the studio.
Two tiers are available for mau5trap.tv. Those on the free tier gain access to behind the scenes content, the message boards, and exclusive experiences and merch. Vault subscribers get even more, including access to the cube 3.0 at Chicago Navy Pier Watch Party tonight, as well as unreleased music, member-only streams, concert watch parties, and other additional perks.
Some of the content that’s already in the Vault on mau5trap.tv includes a three-hour studio stream with Joel, “The Veldt” live from retro5pective, every episode of DPMR, and two downloads of unreleased tunes, “Almost Free” and “Battery Exhausted.” More will find its way into the platform in the future.
