Anyma has added five nights to what was originally billed as a one-night New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Sphere outside Las Vegas.
Update, Tuesday, July 23: All six of Anyma’s New Years Eve events at Sphere are now sold out.
The demand to witness one of Anyma‘s immersive stage shows at the Sphere is a phenomenon all its own. Earlier in the month, the melodic techno mastermind announced his The End of Genesys New Year’s Eve event at the world-famous Las Vegas venue. After he added dates two more times, the gathering now runs six nights, starting December 27, 2024, and ending January 1, 2025.
Anyma (real name Matteo Milleri) is one half of the melodic techno duo Tale of Us. The two Italian artists achieved notable success with the launch of their Afterlife label, which expanded to include an event brand that would come to be defined by jaw-dropping, story-driven CG visuals and state-of-the-art sound system deployments.
It comes as little surprise, then, that Milleri’s ever-growing fanbase would clamor at the opportunity to witness his stage show in the context of the Sphere. Located in Paradise, Nevada just east of the Las Vegas Strip, the 18,600-capacity venue’s wraparound interior 16k LED screen and wave field synthesis sound system will make for a one-of-a-kind experience unlikely to be duplicated for years to come.
Anyma is the first electronic music act billed to perform at the Sphere. Previously, bands like U2, Phish, and Dead & Company have played at the space since Madison Square Garden Entertainment opened it in August 2023, and it has also played host to a showing of Darren Aronofsky‘s film Postcard from Earth.
At the time of writing, supporting acts have yet to be announced for Anyma’s New Year’s Eve shows. However, tickets can be purchased and additional information can be found on the Sphere website.
