Last week, he shook everything up by releasing a video that he and “his band,” Swedish House Mafia, would take the stage at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on October 26 for a benefit show supporting Cancer For College. This hilarious video, where Will Ferrell fit right in with the iconic dance music trio, featured limited details – but more news has surfaced.
Will Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party will not only feature the multifaceted artist and Swedish House Mafia but also a laundry list of DJs who will celebrate Chicago’s rich house music scene while raising funds for a good cause. Curated by Will Ferrell and DJ Whiteshadow, the lineup packs a punch from the jump, with D-Nice, A-Trak, and Felix Da Housecat slated to play.
Gene Farris, Terry Hunter, Terrence Parker, Matthew Koma, Henry Fong, Twista, DRAMA, Dallas Austin, The Captains Of Industry, and more will join in on the fun throughout the night at Wintrust Arena. Additionally, there will be plenty of special guests during the show, including Chicago sports stars and more.
