Time Warp is celebrating more than one milestone in 2024. Not only did this year mark the German event brand’s 30th anniversary, but it will debut in Spain at IFEMA Madrid on October 4 – 5 — and organizers have just shared a lineup fitting for such a momentous occasion.
The Time Warp Spain 2024 bill includes some of the most recognizable names in techno. The names of second-wave Detroit techno innovator Richie Hawtin and longtime Frankfurt superstar Sven Väth will immediately stand out to members of the genre’s discerning fanbase.
Acts who rose to prominence in the 2000s and 2010s also appear on the bill. Among them are Swiss progressive house and techno duo Adriatique, New York City tech house dons The Martinez Brothers, and Madrid-born, Berlin-based selector Héctor Oaks.
Time Warp Spain will also feature performances by some of the most talked-about post-pandemic breakout talent. Live hardware maestro Adiel, Brazilian tech house personality Mochakk, and hard techno sensation Sara Landry are a handful of the buzzier names to grace the event’s 2024 lineup.
Time Warp events have touched down in other locations than Spain and the event brand’s home of Mannheim, Germany. Over the years, they have taken place in New York City, Prague, Turin, Vienna, Milan, and Zurich, among other places.
“Time Warp 30,” as the brand’s 30th birthday celebration is billed, did not end with its April event at Maimarkt Mannheim. It will also make its long-awaited return to New York, landing at Brooklyn Navy Yard for a double-header organized in part by Teksupport.
