Slushii has canceled his upcoming stops in Minneapolis, New York, San Diego, Kansas City, Dallas, and more after doctors instructed him to take time off.
While many artists have been touring nonstop, others have faced some hurdles along the way. This summer has already seen SOFI TUKKER cancel European tour dates due to Tucker dealing with a severe case of strep throat. The recent CrowdStrike outage caused even more chaos for many others over the past 48 hours with flights all over the world being delayed or canceled. More recently, Slushii became the latest to cancel shows after announcing that he needs to take some time off from touring due to health concerns.
Earlier this month, Slushii canceled his gigs in Portland and Sunnyvale due to health concerns from his doctor. While he proceeded to get care for the health issue he faces, it will take a bit longer for him to get back into full touring action again, as he has recently canceled the rest of his shows in July and most of August.
“Unfortunately due to an ongoing health concern I have been instructed by my doctors to take some time off the road,” the statement from Slushii reads. “Thank you for your understanding. I’m looking forward to getting back out to see you as soon as I can!”
Due to his doctor’s instructions, Slushii will no longer perform on upcoming dates in Minneapolis, New York City, Houston, Dallas, San Diego, Tempe, and Kansas City. These dates are either postponed or fully canceled, so if you have tickets, make sure to check with your local promoter or venues regarding refunds or new show dates.
The Chasing Summer Tour is slated to pick back up on August 30 in Philadelphia, with other scheduled shows in Boston, San Antonio, San Francisco, and more. Stay tuned for updates – EDM Identity wishes Slushii a speedy recovery!
