Last year’s edition of Life Is Beautiful was another stunning display of music, art, food, and more in Downtown Las Vegas. However, uncertainty about the festival’s future loomed when an announcement for 2024 did not occur. Months went by with radio silence from the Life Is Beautiful team, leaving many to wonder if they would be taking a hiatus akin to other festivals in the scene this year. But a few short days ago, life was breathed into the accounts with the news of a new concept, A Big Beautiful Block Party.
While the version of Life Is Beautiful that thousands have come to love over the past decade might not be taking place this year, the new block party concept will keep the uplifting vibes and quality beats rolling in Sin City. On September 27-28, the festival’s organizers will bring their A Big Beautiful Block Party concept to the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas, just a five-minute walk from Fremont Street.
The lineup for Life Is Beautiful Presents A Big Beautiful Block Party might be condensed compared to their large-scale, multi-day festival experience, but the artists are sure to pack a punch. Justice, Peggy Gou, and LCD Soundsystem are set to headline the festivities in September, and they’ll be joined by other standout acts like Jamie xx, Jungle, James Blake, Thundercat, Toro Y Moi, BADBADNOTGOOD, LP Giobbi, Neil Frances, and more.
No set times will overlap, allowing those attending to catch every artist slated to perform from 5pm to 2am each day. Not much is known beyond the beats will be booming from the venue’s speakers, so stay tuned for additional information.
