Life Is Beautiful is transitioning away from a full festival experience this year, but there will be plenty of dancing in Downtown Las Vegas on September 27-28.
Las Vegas has been the place to be for many looking to bask in the sun or party during the final days of summer and the onset of fall. One fixture during that timeframe has been Life Is Beautiful Festival, a multi-day, multi-stage, multi-genre experience that has taken over Downtown Las Vegas and transformed it into a music and arts lovers’ paradise. But the festival organizers have been quiet since the conclusion of last year’s edition, leaving many to wonder what the future would hold for this unique experience in Sin City.
Today, Life Is Beautiful kicked up its communications for the first time in months to update everyone on what’s going on and what they’re bringing to the table in 2024. In a post published on their website, the festival’s team shared the story behind the growth of the experience and its community over the past decade, along with official news that the fully-fledged experience would not return in 2024. But all is not lost, as they’ve announced that a two-day Life Is Beautiful Block Party will take place instead!
The Life Is Beautiful Block Party is set to take place on September 27-28 at the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas. While the lineup is set to land on Tuesday, June 25, the festival organizers dropped some additional details, including the 5pm daily start time, that the festival will feature two stages with no overlapping sets, and that two-day passes will start at $199.
For a number of reasons it was appropriate to hit pause on the Life is Beautiful Festival this year. We are hard at work reimagining and evolving the festival experience for the sake of you, the fans, and the incredible community that surrounds us. This event is not intended to replace the festival. For now, it gives us the opportunity to continue the annual tradition of gathering in Downtown Las Vegas to uplift one another, to express ourselves, and to connect. In time, the two will coexist.
