Tomorrowland to Publish Fantasy Novel Trilogy, The Book of Wisdom

Previously, Tomorrowland has published novels ahead of its flagship Boom, Belgium festival.

Tomorrowland is leaning further into the literary world. In both 2023 and 2024, the international event brand published a novel that borrowed from the themes of each year’s edition of its flagship festival in Boom, Belgium. Now, it has shared plans to introduce a fantasy novel trilogy called The Book of Wisdom, starting with a book titled The Great Library of Tomorrow.

According to a synopsis, the first novel in the series follows Helia, a guardian of the story’s namesake library. While visiting one of the realms of Paperworld, she and her partner, Xavier, find themselves under attack by a legion of invaders, not the least of which is a shadowy figure called the Ash Man.

The story was written by Rosalia Aguilar Solace, a Mexico City-born author who comes from a long lineage of writers, according to a press release. It will be published via Blackstone Publishing in the US; Text Publishing in the UK and Australia; Penguin Random House Verlagsgruppe in Germany; Standaard Uitgeverij in the Netherlands; and ActuSF in France and French-speaking countries.

Notably, The Great Library of Tomorrow shares its name with a “VR metaverse experience” that Tomorrowland hosted in Barcelona in March. Such layered story building stands testament to how the event brand creates immersive worlds around its highly popular events.

Tomorrowland first took place in Boom in 2005, drawing roughly 10,000 attendees for a festival headlined by artists like Armin van Buuren, Felix da Housecat, and Coone. The flagship festival has swelled to about 400,000 people, and offshoot events now take place in countries like France and Brazil.

The first installment of The Book of Wisdom is slated for publication on November 12. Pre-order your copy and find additional information on The Great Library of Tomorrow website.
