Bask in the Final Weeks of Spring with Vikkstar

Vikkstar dropped a spring mix to showcase some of his favorite tunes at the moment as he gears up to join Alan Walker on the Walkerverse tour in Asia.

While many might know Vikkstar as a YouTube phenom who is one-seventh of Sidemen, there’s more than meets the eye for this Englishman as he’s gained ground in the music scene over the past year. The first glimpse of his style surfaced when he dropped “Better Off (Alone, Pt. III)” with Dash Berlin and Alan Walker, which quickly amassed huge streaming numbers, and he also teamed up with Shaun Farrugia on “Humans.”

These two tunes have set the stage for Vikkstar’s latest release, “Know Me Better,” which landed on Monstercat Instinct in April. This house tune brings his friend Masked Wolf and UK grime trailblazer Jme into the mix, delivering a powerful, vocal-laden soundscape that’s dancefloor-ready. And that release isn’t all that Vikkstar had in store for 2024, either, as he recently announced that he’ll be joining Alan Walker on the Walkerverse tour in Asia.

But before he makes his way around the world, Vikkstar dropped off a mix to help give everyone a taste of what’s to come in his sets when he takes the stage across Asia. “Here’s a short mix containing a number of tracks I’m enjoying playing in my sets at the moment, ahead of supporting Alan Walker on the first part of his Asia tour,” he shared. “It contains a mix of new and old tracks, which is how I like to format my sets, not sticking to a specific sub-genre or time period. Keep an ear out for a VIP edit of my latest release ‘Know Me Better’!”
