TCE Presents and Broadwick Live officially announce their debut arts and entertainment space in Brooklyn Navy Yard, Brooklyn Storehouse.
Two behemoth creators in the electronic music and live events space, TCE Presents and Broadwick Live, announced a transatlantic partnership earlier this year. Little has been revealed since the news broke that they would be joining forces, but now, more details have surfaced with word of their debut venue under the new collaboration – Brooklyn Storehouse.
The Brooklyn Storehouse is a 104,000-square-foot arts and entertainment space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard that will officially open this month and act as a new cultural center in the area. TCE Presents and Broadwick Live have transformed Building 293, a space formerly used for shipbuilding during World War I and II, into an environment that can feature a wide array of spatial environments from art exhibitions and brand activations to stage builds and experience-driven music shows.
“We are committed to repurposing industrial spaces in an unexpected way that honors their past and creates lasting value for local areas and communities,” Luke Huxham, Director of Development & Place at Broadwick Group, said. “The Brooklyn Navy Yard has a history that dates back to 1801, and we couldn’t be prouder to contribute to its legacy, working in partnership with The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation to generate jobs and economic impact for the city.”
Before its official opening, Brooklyn Storehouse hosted the world’s largest runway show for Ralph Lauren to showcase the space’s immense size and ability to fit the needs of different experiences. TCE Presents and Broadwick Live are set to bring artists like Eric Prydz, Justice, Charlotte de Witte, and more to the venue in the future, with more to be announced soon.
