Techno is on a tear right now in the scene, and BYRD is an artist who is helping foster the growing community in San Diego. Early on, he drove forward with releases on Quite Right and The AudioBloc. He’s since found a home on Techniche Recordings, where he’s dropped tunes like “Nobody Knows” and “FEEL THE RUSH.” Self-released track “Right Back” kicked off his release journey in 2024, and he’s continued to flex his might behind the decks with shows all over Southern California.
This month, BYRD is continuing his ascent with multiple releases lined up on the horizon that are sure to satiate the cravings of anyone who loves subterranean sounds. “I am thrilled to announce that I have two new EPs releasing in May,” he said. “I have signed with Blok Records, and Move Your Body will be available on all platforms on May 17. Additionally, the Higher Experience EP will be released on May 21 through Techniche Recordings.”
