Ultra Hong Kong will make its official debut in September after successfully hosting three single-stage editions in past years.
If there’s one behemoth festival brand in the scene that has taken over the globe, it’s Ultra. While the roots of this brand might be found at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, the expansion it has seen over the past two decades has brought satellite editions to every inhabited continent. Major editions like Ultra Europe, Ultra Japan, Ultra Australia, and more have helped lead a dominating charge, while the Road to Ultra series has helped foster new editions with each passing year. Today, Ultra Worldwide has announced that Road to Ultra Hong Kong will be the next to jump to a fully-fledged festival.
The debut edition of Ultra Hong Kong will take place on Saturday, September 14, at the Central Harbourfront Event Space and mark their return to the city for the first time since 2018. The festival will now offer two stages of booming beats for attendees to experience. The Main Stage will bring plenty of energy with top-tier artists, while the RESISTANCE stage will showcase the best and brightest in the house and techno realm.
Past iterations of Road To Ultra Hong Kong set the stage for the debut of their own standalone edition, as it hosted over 100,000 ULTRAnauts from 2016 to 2018. Although the lineup for Ultra Hong Kong is yet to be revealed, artists ranging from David Guetta and Hardwell to Knife Party and Zedd have performed before, so keep your eyes peeled for the full reveal in the coming months.
Those planning to attend the debut edition of Ultra Hong Kong can register for access to the sale via the official website, which will kick off on Monday, May 13 at 12pm local time. Stay tuned for additional updates on the latest festival from Ultra Worldwide!
