Chase & Status, Sammy Virji, and Gorgon City are among the Rise Festival 2024 headliners.
Ahead of its tenth anniversary event at France‘s Les 2 Alpes ski resort from December 7-14, Rise Festival is taking measures to drum up excitement for the 2024 edition. Following January’s epic 2023 aftermovie, the festival’s organizers have announced a phase one lineup sure to generate interest in the “party on top of the world.”
Occupying more space on the graphic than any other act is Chase & Status, and for good reason. The duo have a two-decade career behind them but have caught a significant second wind thanks to the post-pandemic North American drum and bass resurgence.
Under them are Gorgon City, a house music duo whose hits include “Unmissable,” “Real Life,” and “There For You.” Their sultry and danceable sounds are sure to keep the vibes high atop the French Alps this winter.
Also included on Rise Festival’s phase one lineup are blk., Bou, Ewan McVicar, Hannah Lang, and Sammy Virji. The latter has been on an absolute tear as of late, capitalizing on renewed interest in UK garage similar to that of drum and bass.
Arielle Free, Black Traffic, Badger, Issey Cross, and [IVY] hold up the undercard of Rise Festival’s phase one lineup. Organizers still have yet to announce the remainder of the headliners; last year they did so in August.
In addition to letting loose at just shy of 10,000 feet above sea level, Rise Festival attendees can look forward to paragliding, spa amenities, Michelin-rated food, and more. According to a press release, people came in from 48 different countries to attend the 2023 edition of the gathering.
Tickets start at £319 ($395 USD) with a six-day lift pass included in the price. Purchase yours on the Rise Festival website.
