Peekaboo, The Glitch Mob, Dirtwire, Wreckno, and ZINGARA top the Sacred Acre 2024 bill.

Sacred Acre has shared an announcement sure to entice electronic music fans the world over. The Ninilchik, Alaska festival has delivered the lineup for its third annual installment on September 6-8.

Five names stand out from the top of the Sacred Acre 2024 lineup: Peekaboo, The Glitch Mob, Dirtwire, Wreckno, and ZINGARA. Suffice it to say, it’s a roster that speaks to the primal sensibilities of jamtronica fans and bass heads.

Dirtwire consists of Evan Fraser, David Satori, and Mark Reveley. The former two instrumentalists joined forces and began releasing music together in 2012 with the latter joining in 2016. They’re known for playing unconventional instruments such as the kalimba, jaw harps, and the electric space fiddle.

Wreckno is perhaps just as well known for their raucous style of bass music as they are for wrecking gender barriers in dance music. Among their most popular songs are “Gyrate,” “Delusional,” “Everything,” “Bassline,” and “EZ.”

Meanwhile, ZINGARA promises to add a spiritual touch to the festivities thanks to her distinctive style of bass music. Tracks like “Astra” put her on the map as an artist on the rise, landing her a billing on the 2021 edition of Bigfoot Electro — her first festival — as well as clubs and venues the world over.

The Sacred Acre 2024 lineup’s undercard boasts its fair share of celebrated talent as well. Moontricks, Late Night Radio, Zebbler Encanti Experience, and Thought Process are but a few of the names on the full roster.

Inaugurated in 2022, Sacred Acre was the brainchild of Chris Miller, who has promoted events in Colorado and New Mexico since the mid-’90s. After the debut edition of Sacred Acre, he told Alaska Public Media that he plans to donate proceeds from the festival to raising awareness about the effects of trawling in the Bering Sea after paying off initial investments.

Tickets to Sacred Acre 2024 are on sale now. Purchase yours and find additional information on the festival website.
