While many might be focused on the happenings at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and throughout Sin City during the upcoming edition of EDC Las Vegas, those looking for something unique have a new addition to their radar. Each year, Insomniac raises funds to give back to local charities through the EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction while giving headliners a chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences with their favorite artists and more.
After making a massive return last year that raised $107,000 for beneficiaries, the initial details for the 2024 EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction have been revealed. Insomniac has teamed up with Amplifyd once again to bring the auction to life, and headliners can place bids on the different experiences from April 8 at 12pm PT to April 26 at 8pm PT.
This year, funds will be donated to Camp Alamo and Share Village Las Vegas. Camp Alamo is a new children’s camp venue in Clark County that allows kids to participate in outdoor and STEM activities while helping them develop important life skills. The other non-profit, Share Village Las Vegas, assists veterans and families in need with affordable transitional and permanent housing, fresh food, emergency supplies, and more to help elevate the local community.
Auction items for this year’s edition include meet and greets with artists like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Mau P, and Timmy Trumpet, and unique activities with Ghengar, Alison Wonderland, and Purple Disco Machine. Riding to EDCLV with Kaskade in his helicopter is also up for grabs, along with other fun experiences like karaoke with Deorro and joining in on Andrew Bayer’s birthday bash. Additionally, items like having your own backstage trailer, dinner at Salvage City, photo shoots, and the Insomniac Golden Ticket are also available.
