Defqon.1 unveils this year’s anthem, “Power of the Tribe,” and the 2024 lineup, which features Sound Rush, Aversion, Angerfist, Sefa, Showtek, and more.

The world’s leading hard dance festival, Defqon.1, is set to return for another edition at Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands, on June 27-30, and the excitement is building with each passing month. Today, Q-dance broadcasted The Release stream to further build on the hype for the festival’s upcoming edition, along with details surrounding daily activities and the premiere of the Defqon.1 2024 anthem, “Power of The Tribe” by Sound Rush.

Weekend Warriors can look forward to sets by Sound Rush and Mad Dog on the opening day in addition to the first Defqon.1 closing show of the weekend, The Tribute, at the UV stage. From there, Weekend Warriors will kick everything into full gear on Fresh Friday after Ran-D takes the stage for The Opening Ceremony. That’s not all, as Showtek will be making their highly anticipated return to the mighty RED.

Finally, this day will bring forth The Spotlight sets featuring the wonderboy Sefa and hardcore legend Spitnoise, along with notable performances from hard techno standouts like APHØTIC, Luciid, and Cynthia Spiering.

The energy will continue to build at Defqon.1 on Saturday, with the Power Hour and Warrior Workout taking place that day. This year, however, Q-dance is raising the bar by creating the largest festival workout in history as the Warrior Workout will take place on the mighty RED. Sets by Dual Damage, Rooler, and many more will incur before Angerfist has the honor of closing down the RED, becoming the first-ever hardcore act to do so. The day ends with The Endshow, a classic feature of Defqon.1 known for being an incredible experience.

Then, on Sunday Funday, the festival comes to a heated finish with one last day of madness, culminating with The Closing Ceremony. As each year gets bigger, each event gets bigger, and The Closing Ceremony is no different. This year, this epic event extends to a five-hour affair. The lineup for this event remains a secret, promising one Defqon.1 Legend after another to close this edition spectacularly. To end another memorable weekend, Q-dance will treat fans to their breathtaking firework show, The Closing Ritual.

In addition to all the activities throughout the day, the party continues into the night with after-parties, fire shows, entertainment areas, and wellness stations for the Weekend Warriors seeking relaxation. Stay tuned as more details surrounding these events and the complete timetable will be unveiled during The Warming Up live stream on May 23.

Weekend tickets for Defqon.1 are completely sold out, but don’t miss out on the action—a limited number of single-day tickets remain via the Q-dance website!
