Vintage & Morelli is gearing up to release his fourth album, Algorithm For Happiness, and embark on a North American tour this year.

If there’s one artist in the scene who has figured out the formula to consistently sweep listeners off their feet and take them on a trip to a serene plane of existence, it’s Marko Cubric, aka Vintage & Morelli. For two decades, this Serbian artist has been a force to be reckoned with, providing atmospheric soundscapes on labels including Anjunabeats, Enhanced, and Monstercat Silk. Now, as he gears up for the release of his fourth artist album, he’s breaking out on his own to prove the importance of independence.

Algorithm For Happiness is the latest body of work from the mind of Vintage & Morelli and will double as a new chapter for his career. While the soundscapes found on it are still yet to be unveiled, he shared that the album will effectively act as a window into his artistic mind. The full release of Algorithm For Happiness is due later this year and will coincide with the launch of his new label, Contrasts. Additionally, Vintage & Morelli plans to embark on a North American tour later this year so fans can experience the magic in a live setting.

I remember the countless nights spent perfecting my craft, pouring my heart and soul into every lyric, every chord, note, kick and pad. The road to where I am today hasn’t been an easy one. It’s been filled with setbacks, lots and lots of rejections, moments of self-doubt and feeling lost in a sea of talent. But, every hurdle became a stepping stone, every closed door propelled me to find another way, and every note that didn’t quite resonate only fueled my determination to improve.

Vintage & Morelli

For over half his career, Vintage & Morelli has been a champion of independent artists. However, he shared that the freedom he has “comes with a unique set of challenges.” Struggles with touring because of the pandemic, the high cost of professional recordings, and other factors have made those challenges more difficult to overcome in recent years, and he’s asking his fans for some assistance. With that in mind, Vintage & Morelli has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help get Algorithm For Happiness off the ground.

While donations of all prices are accepted via his website, those who choose to donate at specific levels will receive a reward in exchange. These rewards range from a digital download or CD copy to joining the virtual listening party or getting a copy of a limited-edition vinyl. Backstage VIP access and merch bundles are also available.

Behind every piece of art, every song, there’s a story—a story of resilience, passion, and unyielding dedication. It’s about late-night sessions and early morning inspirations. It’s about sacrifices made and the unwavering belief in the power of creativity.
