Kyle Watson, Mikey Lion, OCULA, Demuir, and Durante are among the artists slated to help open Nashville’s new nightclub, Night We Met.
For decades, the dance music scene has been dominated by cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Miami, but that doesn’t mean things aren’t moving and shaking outside of those regions. Nashville, a city renowned for birthing countless artists and being the home of country music, has begun to make its own strides in the electronic realm. Full Circle Presents has carved out space for itself in the festival scene with Deep Tropics while also running underground venue The Office, and now they’re adding a new club, Night We Met, into the mix.
Night We Met was born from the minds of longstanding Nashville DJ and promoter Austin Knight, and Jim and Alison Knight, and looks to shake up the scene in the Music City. Found inside the space will be an elevated experience for attendees with two rooms featuring local, national, and international DJs, with beats booming from a state-of-the-art Void Acoustic Sound System. Additionally, art installations will be present throughout the venue, with Austin sharing that it will be a “huge component” in making the experience even more immersive.
Another unique aspect of Night We Met is that it will follow in Deep Tropics’s eco-conscious footsteps. The venue will feature a zero-waste program that includes composting and recycling, and no single-use plastics will be utilized. Further, mixologists Owen Gibler and Harrison Drost have curated a special menu of sustainable, kegged cocktails that use local ingredients and minimize unnatural additives.
Headliners slated to take the stage at Night We Met during their opening weeks include Kyle Watson (March 29), Demuir (April 5), OCULA (April 6), Mikey Lion (April 12), and Durante (April 19). Tickets are on sale now via their official website. Stay tuned for more updates on this new nightlife spot in Nashville.
