Coachella is embracing the future by teaming up with OpenSea to offer attendees a unique blend of digital assets with real, tangible benefits.
Coachella has announced an exciting collaboration with the leading marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) aimed at reinventing what it means to be a festival-goer on the polo grounds this year. OpenSea is the world’s first and largest marketplace for crypto collectibles and NFTs, and this new Coachella partnership represents a significant milestone in uniting the digital and physical realms. Together, they have officially launched Coachella Keepsakes.
With the help of the Avalanche blockchain network, Coachella Keepsakes offers a series of three NFT collections that go far beyond traditional collectibles. These digital assets will give holders access to VIP experiences, merchandise, and exclusive access to the festival’s most coveted spots like the Rose Garden or the new Oasis Lounge. These NFTs serve as an all-access pass to some of the festival’s most sought-after offerings, and they could singlehandedly change how festivals like Coachella are experienced.
The inaugural installment of the Coachella Keepsakes series is the VIP Pass + Oasis Lounge Keepsake, providing digital token holders with an exclusive 2024 VIP festival pass and access to the new Oasis Lounge. Priced at $1,499, this collection offers a tranquil escape from the desert heat, equipped with exclusive bar privileges, shaded lounges, and more. With only 1,000 assets available, enthusiasts can secure their rightful place on OpenSea’s platform until April 1st.
The second installment of the NFT series, Canvas Welcome Box Keepsake, will drop on March 25 and promises an array of utilities and perks, including exclusive merchandise, digital content, and access to the coveted Rose Garden VIP area. The final drop will feature an exciting opportunity to collaborate with an artist and will be available for purchase in mid-April. Stay tuned for forthcoming announcements regarding pricing details, tier options, and more.
