Excision, Dom Dolla Top Indy 500 Snake Pit 2024 Lineup

Indy 500 Snake Pit has announced its 2024 lineup, which consists of five major EDM headliners.

The organizers of Indy 500 Snake Pit — the concert that coincides with the Indianapolis 500 races — have shared the lineup for their 2024 festivities. The five artists on the bill will capture a wide cross-section of the EDM landscape at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana on Sunday, May 26.

Perhaps most notably, Excision has been announced as headliner of Indy 500 Snake Pit 2024. The DJ and producer needs no introduction as he’s one of the artists most closely associated with heavy dubstep. He also organizes a nearby event of his own each year: Lost Lands in Thornville, Ohio.

Fans of house, on the other hand, can look forward to a performance by none other than Dom Dolla. He was already a force to be reckoned with prior to the pandemic — but afterward, his star has risen to even greater heights. In 2023 alone, he teamed up with John Summit on an event series called Everything Always and delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Gryffin‘s booking promises a measure of mainstage melodic house flair at Indy 500 Snake Pit 2024. Between recent singles like “Dreams” and “Ocean” featuring Kid Joi, he’s fully pivoted from the effervescent brand of future bass that first put him on the map.

Sullivan King and Timmy Trumpet are the last names on the lineup, and they share in common that they’re both DJ-producer-instrumentalists. The similarities end there, though. Sullivan King has made a name for himself by fusing metal with heavy dubstep. Timmy Trumpet, meanwhile, champions an eclectic style of big room.

The Snake Pit has remained a fixture of the Indianapolis 500 since the 1950s. In 2012 it “underwent a makeover,” according to Rolling Stone, and began adding EDM acts during a time when the genre was exploding in popularity. Skrillex, Kaskade, Chris Lake, Hardwell, and Dillon Francis are but a few of the artists to grace Turn 3 of the infield over the years.

Tickets to Indy 500 Snake Pit 2024 currently cost $100 for general admission and $205 for VIP. Purchase yours on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway website.
