Mau P shared the news of his Wynn Las Vegas residency on the heels of his new track, “BEATS FOR THE UNDERGROUND.”
Wynn Las Vegas isn’t holding back in 2024. The resort hotel recently announced a series of RÜFÜS DU SOL DJ sets at XS Nightclub, and now it has shared that it will be the proud home of Mau P‘s first-ever Sin City residency between XS and Encore Beach Club.
Mau P’s run of dates begins on March 29 at XS, with the second falling on May 15 at Encore. Aside from a June 23 return to XS, the remainder have yet to be announced at the time of writing. Along the way, Mau P will also perform at clubs like Public Works in San Francisco and The Ave Live in Philadelphia as well as at festivals like Escapade in Ottawa and Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium.
The announcement punctuates the hype of Mau P’s latest release, “BEATS FOR THE UNDERGROUND.” The bass-heavy tech house single has been inescapable on EDM TikTok, building on the success of recent Mau P singles like “Gimme That Bounce,” “Your Mind Is Dirty,” and “Metro” featuring Kevin de Vries.
Perhaps no track is as integral to the success of Mau P (real name Maurits Westveen) as “Drugs From Amsterdam,” however. He had been producing music as Maurice West since the tender, young age of 14, but the 2022 single — his first under his current alias — propelled him into the stratosphere. It quickly amassed tens of millions of streams, earning him bookings across the globe in the process.
By the following year, Mau P was racking up headline gigs in some of dance music’s most storied settings. Among them was Club Space, which shared a recording of his set via YouTube. With each passing Month, Mau P becomes a more and more highly anticipated billing. His Wynn Las Vegas residency only looks to bolster his upward trajectory even further.
Tickets to Mau P’s XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club residency are available on his website. Check back as more dates will be announced.
