RÜFÜS DU SOL will perform DJ sets at the Wynn Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub from May to July 2024.
In a departure from their usual performances as a band, RÜFÜS DU SOL will play DJ sets for seven Las Vegas dates from Sunday, May 5 to Sunday, September 29. The occasion? A residency at XS Nightclub, located in the Wynn Las Vegas resort hotel.
Framework is responsible for the residency. The event organizer previously partnered with the Australian trio on March 2023 edition of their bi-annual Art Of The Wild event series at XS, also billing the likes of Black Coffee, MK, ANNA, and Miss Monique.
This also isn’t the first time RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced a DJ residency, let alone the first time at the Wynn. The hotel played host to string of such dates between July and October 2018 as part of its Nightswim gatherings.
RÜFÜS DU SOL formed in 2010 and released their first two EPs, RÜFÜS and Blue, in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The Sydney-based group are perhaps best known for their debut album, 2013’s Atlas, and Bloom, which came out in 2016. Both reached #1 on the “Australian Albums Chart.”
XS Nightclub boasts a 40,000-square-foot space between its indoor and outdoor areas. During the EDM explosion of 2010-2015, it routinely topped Bar & Nightclub‘s list of highest-grossing clubs worldwide. XS routinely plays host to superstar DJs like Marshmello, David Guetta, and The Chainsmokers.
EDC Las Vegas famously falls on the date range of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s XS residency. Fans of the group who are planning to go to the monumental three-day festival can pregame by attending the Thursday, May 16 show.
RÜFÜS DU SOL’s XS Nightclub residency kicks off on Sunday, May 5 and ends on Sunday, September 29. Tickets for each installment are available for purchase on the band’s website.
