Tomorrowland Unveils Breathtaking CORE Stage in Tulum

The brand new CORE stage has been officially revealed, and Tomorrowland outdid itself by pairing modern production with Tulum’s jungle scenery.

Tomorrowland has become renowned for bringing immersive, larger-than-life stages to their festivals worldwide, and it seems like each passing year has seen them continue to level up the experience. While they surely have something special in store for the upcoming winter edition in France and summer edition in Belgium, their CORE Tulum show was the first to roar forward in 2024. It was there that Tomorrowland premiered the new CORE stage for the masses, and it’s an absolute stunner.

Over 16,000 dance music lovers flocked to the lush jungle of Tulum to experience the magic in person, and they were treated to a jaw-dropping display once they entered the venue. Artists who played on this newly debuted stage over the past weekend included Disclosure, Boys Noize, HAAi, and Mind Against, but it wasn’t just about the music at CORE Tulum; it was about the multi-sensory delight.

The new CORE stage is quite the audio-visual behemoth, but even though it stands 17 meters high and runs 30 meters wide, it was developed with touring in mind and fits in one shipping container. The stage decorations make this new stage unique, but the additional production elements make it pop. Strobes, LED lights, bars, washes, fireworks fountains, and more help light up the sky once the sun goes down, while fog machines, bubble smoke machines, CO2 cannons, water fountains, and more add even more immersion.

Those who didn’t get the chance to check out the CORE stage during its debut this past weekend will have another chance to experience the madness on January 20. That’s when artists like Vintage Culture, Agents Of Time, Brina Knauss, and Kölsch will grace the stage in Tulum for the second round of house and techno heat. Rest assured that this stage will continue to pop up worldwide, including Tomorrowland’s flagship edition in July.

Passes for the second weekend of CORE Tulum are available now. Get some additional looks at the stage below, head to their website to grab tickets, and stay tuned for more from Tomorrowland by following them on social media.
