Sama’ Abdulhadi, Carl Cox, and Bonobo are among the artists on the EXIT Festival 2024 lineup.
As EXIT Festival gears up to return in 2024, organizers have decided to whet the appetites of music fans for next year’s gathering. They have therefore shared the first lineup announcement for the event, which will once again take place at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia from July 10-14.
Electronic music features heavily on this first handful of artist names (24 in total). Representing house and techno on the lineup are breakout star Sama’ Abdulhadi, the well-established Bonobo, and beloved elder statesman Carl Cox. Franky Wah, Rudimental, Steve Angello, and Klangkuenstler hail from other points on the dance music spectrum — not to mention John Newman, who will play a hybrid live set.
EXIT Festival 2024 will also command significant draw for fans of other styles of music. Black Eyed Peas, Tom Morello, and Kenya Grace stand out as arguably the most widely recognizable names on the lineup.
Originally a student protest movement launched in 2000, EXIT’s debut only included six headliners: Darkwood Dub, Orthodox Celts, Eyesburn, Van Gogh, Atheist Rap, and Deca Loših Muzičara. It grew to routinely draw between 150,000-250,000 attendees before offers to acquire the brand started pouring in. Majority owner Dušan Kovačević famously turned down a €3 million offer from Croatian company Arian Zabava in 2007, instead donating it to the city of Novi Sad so it could continue to be held at Petrovaradin Fortress.
Over the years, dance music acts like Derrick Carter, Télépopmusik, Jeff Mills, Andy C, and Nicky Romero have appeared on EXIT Festival lineups. The 2023 edition saw 200,000 attendees enjoy performances by such artists as Nina Kraviz, Partiboi69, Sofi Tukker, Amelie Lens, and Hot Since 82.
EXIT Festival will take place from July 10-14 at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Siberia. Purchase tickets or find out more on the EXIT Festival website.
