The Flow Festival 2024 lineup includes electronic musicians like Fred Again.., Overmono, and Body & Soul.

Flow Festival will count its 20th annual installment at the Suvilahti cultural center in Sörnäinen, Helsinki from August 9th-11th, 2024. Organizers have made their first artist announcement ahead of the milestone event. A wide range of popular music styles are represented so far on the lineup, and dance music has not been overlooked.

Case in point: Fred Again.. is billed for the 2024 edition of Flow. Perhaps no other artist in dance music has enjoyed as meteoric a rise as the UK DJ and producer over the past few years. His genre-be-damned style ought to fit in well with the eclectic pool of artists on the lineup.

Also included in the announcement are Overmono and Body & Soul. The former act’s dreamy and loosely breakbeat-inspired style will surely entrance Flow attendees. The latter consists of early dance music figureheads François K, Danny Krivit, and Joe Claussell.

Artists from all corners of the music industry feature on the lineup as well. Denzel Curry, Pulp, Kenya Grace, and Jessie Ware are among the non-electronic music names ensuring Flow Festival 2024 a more accessible draw.

The brainchild of Finnish artist Tuomas Kallio and local outfit Nuspirit Helsinki, Flow Festival debuted in 2004. Aiming to breathe new life into the Helsinki music scene, the first installment billed artists like Marlena Shaw, Norman Jay, Ty, and Jazzanova for an event an old railway warehouse in the Helsinki city center.

Over the years, Flow has grown to provide a platform for acts such as Carl Craig, Cut Chemist, Frank Ocean, Gorillaz, Kraftwerk, and Björk. The 2023 event featured performances by the likes of Kaytranada, Devo, and Lorde — the latter of whom made her Finland debut at the three-day festival.

Flow Festival will announce more headliners in the months leading to its 2024 event on August 9th-11th. Three-day and “Gold” tickets are available on the event website.
