The Queen Mary Waterfront will shift from a trance-filled weekend during Dreamstate SoCal to one fueled by heavy dubstep, trap, drum and bass, and more when Apocalypse Zombieland makes its debut on November 24-25. This fresh festival from the minds of Bassrush is bringing plenty of heat with a lineup teeming with talented artists who will help keep the pesky undead away with their high-octane beats and deep, driving wubs that will leave them in shambles.
If the immersive production, unique setting, and stacked lineup that features major movers and shakers in the scene, from Excision and Rusko to Zeds Dead and Yellow Claw, weren’t enough to satiate your cravings at Apocalypse Zombieland, then the official afterparties surely will. These special shows, only available to those attending the festival, will keep the beats alive from 12am to 4am each night, and there’s plenty to explore from a range of sonic dimensions in the bass realm.
Artists slated to play the official afterparties for Apocalypse Zombieland include Sub Focus, Virtual Riot, Ivy Lab, Barely Alive, Jessica Audiffred, REAPER, and Koven. Other stunners who shouldn’t be missed include Infekt playing a deep dub set, Kompany gearing up to deliver a dose of drum and bass, and a massive b2b set featuring Hairitage and Ruvlo. Several rising artists will also be playing these afterparties, such as Justin Hawkes, Montell2099, G-REX, SuperAve., Stumpi, Chee, and more.
