Pasquale Rotella revealed the themes for each day and night of the maiden voyage of EDSEA, including Electric Disco Fever, Baewatch, and more.
This year saw another huge announcement from Insomniac during their 30th-anniversary celebrations as they revealed that the debut edition of EDSEA would set sail in the fall. Room packages moved quickly for the maiden voyage of this fresh experience on the high seas when they went on sale in January, and those planning to be on board have craved more information about what’s to come ever since.
Last month saw EDSea reveal its inaugural lineup, and the list of artists is brimming with talent from a range of genres and styles. The likes of AFROJACK, SIDEPIECE, Zeds Dead, Cosmic Gate, SLANDER, Dimension, Benny Benassi, Le Youth, Sara Landry, Deorro, and more are set to take the stage during the maiden voyage. Yet there’s more that EDSea will offer for those who will be on board from November 4-8.
While Insomniac has become renowned for bringing immersive experiences to their festivals on land, EDSea will offer one of the most unique for headliners to participate in. Daily activities and other surprises will surely pop up in the coming weeks, but last night, Pasquale Rotella delivered another piece of the puzzle with the themes for each day and night.
Headliners sailing on EDSea can don their best fits inspired by the ’70s on embarkation day during the Electric Disco Fever-themed day and night. This is the only theme that appears for both, with Pasquale stating that he didn’t want the first day to be stressful or rushed for headliners. Sunday’s daytime theme is Baewatch, so make sure to grab your best lifeguard bathing suit, while that night will see pirates take over the ship during the Ravers Of The Caribbean theme.
Monday is all about taking it back to the days of raves gone by during Hip-Hip Hoorave, so you won’t want to forget your favorite fuzzy hat, overalls, and other throwback rave fits. That night will be a slumber party for the ages during the Pajama Jam theme. Tuesday will have everyone channeling the vibes in Miami during the ’80s as Vice In Paradise becomes the day’s theme, and the final night will be full of mystique during the Masquerave.
All cabins for the maiden voyage of EDSea are currently sold out – head to their official website to sign up for the waiting list!
