Riigs Spins Up a Proper 'Partygate' Summer Mix

For over two decades, UK native Riigs has been making his mark in the realm of progressive and melodic house and techno. Whether he’s crafting his own decadent solo works or teaming up with remarkable collaborators on poignant tunes, the producer boasts a lengthy track record of making music that sticks in your mind. His impressive studio technique translates into solid live sets, too. His repertoire of emotive, melodic tunes allows him to help any listener tap into their soul and spirit.

Last year, Riigs and longtime collaborator Skenna put their creative heads together to form Londam Records. In the time since its launch, the two producers have delivered some incredible releases. The Underpass EP christened the imprint with three of their lovely tracks, followed up by remixes from Eko Centrik, Phil Anker, and LEV. The label founders then collaborated again on the Amsterdub EP as well as on the Luna Dub EP, both of which featured potent, visceral soundscapes. They’ve also hosted artists like Buried Notes and Jan Steiner for memorable cuts.

Now, Riigs is back again with his latest EP, Partygate Vol. 1. This new record is the first installment in an upcoming series of EPs centered around a party-starting atmosphere, an objective it certainly achieves. Partygate Vol. 1 features “Four Echoes” and “VSOP,” both of which will make you want to get your body moving and flowing.
