Find Your Groove with This Mix From Roger Skot

San Diego-based artist Roger Skot whipped up a summer mix that will leave you dancing all day and deep into the night.

The dance music scene in Southern California has continually churned out impressive artists over the years in various genres, and Roger Skot is the next fresh face to start paying attention to. Based out of sun-soaked San Diego, a city that’s become renowned for its blossoming house and techno scene, he’s begun to ingrain himself in multiple facets of the industry, not just as a DJ and producer, but as a visual artist and member of production teams as well.

While he might be found tackling multiple roles, the past few years have seen Roger Skot hone his production skills with a number of releases that have surfaced. This has included tunes like “Mind Ctrl” and “On My Way” in 2021 and 2022, but in 2023 he’s begun to command more attention with three more gems – “Touch Me,” a VIP of “Mind Ctrl,” and more recently, “I Want It (Addicted To You).” The latter of the three sees Roger Skot showcase his influences from the realms of progressive house and melodic techno, while the layered vocals provide even more added flair.

To celebrate his latest release and the onset of the warmest season of the year, Roger Skot swung by to spin up a mix for our Summer Sessions series. Found within the 40-minute ride are selections from the likes of Black V Neck, James Hype, Chris Lorenzo, ACRAZE, and Mau P, to name a few. Additionally, Roger Skot’s single “I Want It (Addicted To You)” also makes an appearance midway through – so press play and get to groovin’!
