ATLiens, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Zeds Dead, PEEKABOO, Ternion Sound, Excision, and more are set to play Forbidden Kingdom 2023.
While other regions of the US have made their mark on the bass scene over the years, Florida is continuing to grow year by year with impressive artists and unique experiences of their own. One that has captivated lovers of dubstep, drum and bass, and other styles in that realm as of late is Forbidden Kingdom, a multi-day festival in Orlando that has offered stunning lineups and Medieval-esque production – and now they’re gearing up for the 2023 edition.
After Forbidden Kingdom announced its return last September, the hype steadily built for what was to come when they made their way back to the Orlando Amphitheater at Central Florida Fairgrounds. Today, they kicked everything into a higher gear with the initial lineup of artists who will grace the stage on June 9-10, and it’s truly a bass lover’s dream with heavy hitters and rising stars alike gracing the list.
Immediate standouts on the Forbidden Kingdom lineup include some legendary artists in the scene, such as Excision, Flux Pavilion, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Zeds Dead, Borgore, Grafix, Ternion Sound, and TRUTH, but that’s just the start. A deeper dive into the list will see names such as Gentlemens Club, PEEKABOO, Dack Janiels, BUKU, ATLiens, Modestep, Kumarion, Wooli, and SAYMYNAME, all of whom are sure to deliver some quality sets.
Other special performances set to take place over the weekend include b2b sets featuring Bensley and Justin Hawkes, DMVU and sfam, Chimera and Vainz, and Subfiltronik and Point.Blank, while the b2b2b featuring Blankface, Decimate, and Bloodthinnerz shouldn’t be slept on either. Fury is set to perform with MC Dino, while DIESEL will be riling up the crowd with another energetic performance. And if you want a taste of the future of the scene, look no further than Wreckno, Skellytn, Space Wizard, Steller, Moovy, Mersiv, HEYZ, and Green Matter, who all will be taking the stage throughout the weekend.
