TAO Group Launches TAO Cares COVID-19 Employee Relief Fund

As the world continues to grapple with the coronavirus, TAO Group has launched a TAO Cares to help its employees.

The entire world has been shaken up by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with many workers in the service, hospitality, and entertainment industries out of work due to social distancing measures and stay-at-home orders from local governments around the world. Two of the cities that have been hit the hardest by these measures have been New York and Las Vegas, where a large number of people living there have jobs in affected industries. That’s where TAO Group and their new program TAO Cares intends to help.

While they might be well-known for their experiences at Marquee New York as well as Marquee Dayclub & Nightclub and their namesake TAO in Sin City, these have unfortunately been shuttered for the time being. This also means that many of the current and former employees of TAO Group are stuck at home and might be facing hardships during these unprecedented times. In response, they’ve created TAO Cares Relief Fund, a pending 501(c)3 charitable organization that was launched with their employees in mind.

Donations to the fund will go directly towards assisting those employees who are dealing with the fallout from the pandemic. Ahead of its launch, the Relief Fund had already received $500,000 in donations and the TAO Group Hospitality management team has also announced that they will be matching additional donations up to $400,000. Donations can be made by visiting their website which also has more information on where the funds that are raised will go.

Additionally, to help keep the spirits high of those who would be dancing the day and night away at their clubs, they’ve also announced a series of livestreams to check out. Broadcasted on Instagram and other platforms like Facebook, they’ve already featured mainstays of their clubs like Dash Berlin and Benny Benassi along with residents including Ruckus and Eric Dlux. Stay tuned for upcoming shows by following TAO Group on Instagram and checking in on our Livestream Tracker!
