The second day of EDC Las Vegas 2017 has now come to a close!
Opting to drive once again, we arrived on site anticipating an epic night ahead of us. We actually got there fairly early, as we wanted to catch Shaun Frank’s opening set at kineticFIELD. Definitely feeling hotter than the day before we made sure to hydrate as we checked out some things we missed at EDC Las Vegas the first day.
Monstercat had taken over the Kalliope Art Car, so after finishing up with Shaun Frank we headed there to find Grant behind the decks. His set was fun and unique, which really helped set the tone for the rest of the night. Exploring the VIP area at kineticFIELD a bit, we spent some downtime leaping into the ball pit and got a solid view of the festival from the Ferris Wheel.
The fireworks display was once again absolutely amazing, which was a solid addition to the end of Porter Robinson’s set. The circuitGROUNDS was calling our names as Above & Beyond’s set was in its beginning moments. Playing some old hits and newer tracks too, Oliver Heldens took the decks after and was actually one of the sets I had the most fun at all night.
Closing the evening out we hit up the neonGARDEN for some Jamie Jones, quantumVALLEY with Cosmic Gate on the decks, and finally made our way out of the festival to the sounds of Lee Foss. I can’t wait for what is in store tomorrow to put the finishing touch on the weekend!
