When orchestral music and dance tracks come together, the output is nothing short of amazing!

When I heard that Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics performance would be coming to Los Angeles, I instantly knew I could not miss this event! There’s something absolutely magical about sharing some of my favorite dance tracks played live with a full orchestra that makes me melt. That coupled with the brilliance of Tong, made this an easy decision. Tong is a wildly influential figure in dance music whose career spans more than two decades.

Though mostly regarded as a DJ, Tong is so much more. He is the voice of BBC Radio 1’s dance programming such as the Essential Mix and Essential Selection and is known for signing acts like Oliver Heldens, The Magician, and The Disciples to his FFRR label, among many other accomplishments.

Last year the iconic DJ brilliantly showcased his Ibiza Classics live shows, performed with the Heritage Orchestra and conducted by Jules Buckley.Pete Tong Ibiza Classics spawned from at the Ibiza Prom that occurred years ago. There, Tong worked with Buckley, Heritage Orchestra, and its artistic director Chris Wheeler to create a fascinating fusion of the dance music with an orchestra. The shows were sold out at arena shows across England and led an official album release that garnered the #1 spot on the UK album chart.

Thankfully, Tong is bringing this innovative live show to the U.S. It will be taking place at the iconic Hollywood Bowl and performed once again by the illustrious Heritage Orchestra, conducted by Jules Buckley.
