What was your first electronic music event?
Hard Summer 2014.
What/who influenced you to attend your first event?
My roommate went to HARD in 2013 and came back and began to show me EDM here and there. I was still very heavily listening to Hip-Hop, so I was like “yeah sure, I’ll go to Hard Summer 2014.” After I attended that event, the rest was history – it was amazing!
What is one moment from an event that was special and why?
I can’t pin down one moment, however, I think all the moments during an event are special. There’s not many places you can find genuinely nice people who are all there for the same reason – the music.
What is your favorite festival or event?
Beyond Wonderland. It was my second Insomniac event after EDC and it was done exceptionally well.
What is your favorite electronic song and why?
At this time: “Wait” by Dombresky, “Getting That” by Rickyxsan & Dirty Audio, “Malice” by Drezo, “Mind” by Jack U (Malaa Remix), “Bang” by Wavedash
Who are your favorite artists?
Porter Robinson, Mura Masa, Zomboy, Barely Alive, NGHTMRE, Getter
What are your favorite genres?
In no particular order:
– Dubstep
– Trap
– Bass House
– House music in general
– Future Bass
What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?
My “Identity” within the electronic music community would be someone who is there to enjoy the good music and to not create any trouble.
