Mysteryland USA 2016 || Lodging & Transportation

With the journey to the magical Woodstock grounds in upstate New York soon to start, I have gathered some important information regarding lodging and transportation in hopes that this will help better your travel to Mysteryland and the historic Bethel Woods area. If you have not already purchased your tickets, full weekend tickets are still available as well as single day tickets. Payment plans are also still available as well.

Camping

Holy Grounds Camping is the camping available that is closest to the action. In order to camp here, you must be over the age of 21. Within this small area there are several different areas that make up the Holy Grounds camping area. Friendship camping is available for an extra fee with a minimum of ten people and a maximum of twelve. It runs at about $32 extra per person with one person designated as the group leader. The large majority of festival goers will be camping in the Nomad Camping area. The Plaza Central will be the marketplace/central location where a variety of food, beverage and craft vendors will be located. This centralized area will also be home to lockers, bathrooms, showers and free water stations. Speaking of Showers, the showers will be available for an additional fee, however for Premium VIP ticket holders they will be complimentary. Premium Camping will be the special reserved VIP camping area for those that were able to spend a little more on their tickets. This area will include a 24 hour concierge service as well as prime camping area in a secured location. Easy Tents will be in a designated area within the Holy Grounds and these are pre-set tent and camping gear. Nomads are able to keep this after the festival is long over. Out of every camping festival I have been to, I have seen past Easy Tents at all of them.

Lander’s River is another camping option available to those that are 19 years or older.  This campground is not very far from the venue and is the next closest apart from the Holy Grounds.  If this seems like your cup of tea, please contact 1-800-252-395 to reserve your campsite.  Continuous shuttles will be provided to and from the venue.

Hotel Packages

Villa Roma hotel packages are available for purchase. This hotel is located approximately 10 miles from Bethel Woods and the prices include your festival tickets as well as your shuttle passes.Those Nomads who wish to opt for this package will also receive a commemorative merchandise item per guest. This package is available for those 19+ and 21+.

Parking

Holy Grounds Camping Parking Passes will be approximately $40 and will allow you to park all weekend. However, there are a few stipulations. There will be no leaving the grounds once you are parked. Once you have parked you are there for the weekend. There will also be no coming and going to your car. So once you arrive, bring all your gear in one trip. All cars must exit the lot by Monday at 1PM. Any cars remaining in the lot will be towed at the owners expense. Parking passes are also non-transferable.

Day Visitor Parking Passes will be approximately $50 and you will be able to park Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the Day Visitors lot. No in & outs will be allowed. Only leave when departing for the night and all cars must be gone by 3AM. All cars remaining past that time are subject to towing at the owners expense. These parking passes are also non-transferable.

Each of the shuttles will offer air conditioning, high back plush captain chair seating, and under storage for festival supplies.

After serving in the military for eight years and attending Florida International University in Miami, I attended my first EDM concert in 2012. The DJ I saw was Kaskade and I fell in love with the scene immediately. Since joining the EDM community in 2012, I have been to several different music festivals which include: Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, TomorrowWorld, Mysteryland, Electric Forest and many others. I have also been to several shows but prefer music festivals overall. Some of my favorite DJs include: Deadmau5, Kaskade, Rabbit in the Moon, and many others. EDM has always had a place in my heart and it actually came into my life when I really needed it, you could say it saved my life.
