This weekend Borgore will be playing the decks at Icon! With the recent loss of Mansion on Miami Beach; the new club taking its place, Icon, has some huge shoes to fill. Borgore, if you don’t already know, is mostly known for his DJing style along with constantly showcasing women being ratchet. After seeing him at Life in Color Miami last year and TomorrowWorld 2015, I am personally interested in checking him out in a club setting. I’ve been a fan of his music for a few years and am always interested in reading up on his antics.
With the venue, Icon, I’m very interested to see how the changed things around. Like I mentioned, this is where the famous Miami club Mansion used to be located. After living in Miami for almost 8 years, I was very familiar with the old venue. Mansion was always a go-to spot for tourists and celebrities. In the last few years, the club did start to decline until it’s official close March 2015. It reopened as Icon with a new name and new design.
