This year Life is Beautiful has partnered with Insomniac, producers of the Electric Daisy Carnival, to bring some of electronic music’s biggest artists to downtown Las Vegas with the introduction of the new Troubadour Stage. Although there are many talented electronic artists on the bill for Life is Beautiful these are my top 10 must sees of 2015:
- Porter Robinson (LIVE): Porter brings his live Worlds tour to the new Troubador Stage. His live production is nothing short of a masterpiece. The whole set is artfully crafted and seamlessly executed. From the melodic beats and supporting visuals, to the huge bass drops, you will not leave this set without the feels.
- Kygo: This Norwegian DJ and producer will have the whole Life is Beautiful crowd swaying and bouncing to his signature tropical house tunes like Cut Your Teeth, Stole the Show, and Firestone. Quickly gaining popularity amongst all EDM fans Kygo’s set will be the best way to wrap up the weekend. With his new songs and collaborations I think he will definitely top his weekend closing set on the Mojave Stage from Coachella 2015.
- Knife Party: This was an addition to the lineup that I could not be more excited about. With their latest album, Abandon Ship, added to their artillery you can guarantee Knife Party will be bringing the hardest bass drops of the weekend to the Troubadour Stage.
- Madeon: Most known for his Pop Culture mashup on YouTube Madeon has been throwing down massive sets at huge shows around the world. With the release of his new album, Adventure, Madeon has a large repertoire of songs that will make you dance all night.
- Major Lazer: Lean On has arguably been one of the songs of the summer and will no doubt have the crowd leaning and dancing on Friday night. Their latest album, Peace is the Mission, parallels the Life is Beautiful theme and has a plethora of great songs. Plus, you can always count on Diplo and friends to throw an awesome party.
- Tchami: Tchami is one of the electronic artists that I have yet to see, but know that it will be a set I cannot miss. His deep house beats have a Disclosure sound with a unique blend of future house. This set will be filled with high energy and awesome drops.
- Griz: Griz has a unique blend of funk and electronic sounds that are similar to artists such as Gramatik and Big Gigantic. No matter what stage Griz is on this set is sure to make you sweat in the Las Vegas heat.
- Klingade: With their signature piano and trumpet chords, most recognizable on their singles Punga and Jubel, French duo Kilngade will be creating a unique concert atmosphere on the Troubadour stage.
- Jauz: Jauz has gone from being just a regular festival attendee to performing at large concerts and festivals. Gaining more recognition over the last few months this Los Angeles native’s passion and energy will radiate through the crowd and have everyone jumping.
- Girraffage: Tell Me was the first song that I heard by Girraffage and I have wanted to see his live set ever since. I am excited to see how he works all his melodic beats into a seamless set on the Troubadour stage.
