Insomniac festivals impact not only the fans, but also the local communities in which they are held. From creating jobs to generating taxes and revenue, Insomniac shows have provided significant benefits for our host cities. Now, we know how significant that is.
More than 3.39 million Headliners have come together at 48 events produced across 14 cities from 2010–14. According to an analysis by Beacon Economics, these events have generated $3.17 billion for the US economy over the past five years.
“This study beautifully illustrates the powerful financial and cultural impact of dance music here in the United States,” says Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella. “As support from our Headliners continues to grow, our contributions can continue to make a difference here at home and around the world.”
