This was my favorite set of the entire weekend and I am more than excited to be able to share this with everyone! Mixmag filmed this set and you can even catch some of the EDM Identity Staff up in the front. The Bixel Boys have been favorites of mine for quite some time, and to be back to back with Viceroy who has been pushing out amazing music was just sublime. They played after SNBRN and Trippy Turtle, who both also played sets that were great that day. Combine the awesome vibes of CRSSD with the atmosphere of the venue, the perfect weather, and being at home in San Diego…..I couldn’t have asked for a better set on a more perfect day.
These three artists not only play some dope house music but also will throw in old school hits and some hip hop tracks as well. If you haven’t had the chance to catch a Bixel Boys or Viceroy set, DO IT. The Bixel Boys will be playing next week and the week after at Coachella, and Viceroy will be playing at Euphoria Festival in Austin, TX.
