Maria Clinton

Maria Clinton

Maria Clinton hails from Buffalo, NY but currently lives in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She has always been very passionate about music but first fell in love with electronic dance music in the early 2000’s when she heard a little tune called “Satisfaction” by Benny Benassi. Since then she has dived head first into the scene and become dedicated and passionate about the trance, techno, and tech house genre’s. Festival’s like EDC and TomorrowWorld hold the key to her soul and dance music will always and forever be a major part of her life.  A few other fun facts about Maria is that her second love is animals and has a whole house full of dogs, a cat, a ferret, and even a snake! Also, she loves to play board games with the girls and doesn’t need any excuse to pop open a nice bottle of wine.  She values following her heart and living life the way she wants to live it, letting nothing hold her back.

Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez

Lead Correspondent | San Diego

Carlos was first introduced to EDM by his younger brother in 2014 at EDC Las Vegas. It was his first festival, first concert, his first rave. That single, life changing experience caused him to seek out more. He attended Summer Set Music Festival and Nocturnal Wonderland with his brother before he was ready to tackle going to a festival alone. By the time he attended Escape and Day of the Dead a vast majority of his friends were people he had met at festivals. The music was addicting and therapeutic, while the community was overwhelming and accepting. He suddenly found a place where he honestly felt at home. In 2015 he became a member of the UniSquad his rave family and shortly after that moved to San Diego to be closer to everything.

During the day Carlos is a web developer and uses that passion to fund his horrible habit of being down for anything and wanting to attend everything. You will see him at festivals both large and small, such as EDCLV to Phoenix Lights or Dancefestopia, from festivals like Beyond Wonderland in California to Mysterland USA in New York. The music is why he goes, the people are why he stays.

Christopher Rivera

Christopher Rivera

Correspondent / Photographer | Orlando

Christopher, or Brown Bear as his Festival Family and most of his friends call him, got his humble beginnings in the dance music scene when he was a child from none other than his mother. The weekends were filled with dance music from the 80’s and 90’s like La Bouche’s “Be My Lover” and Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night”. In 2010 his friends showed him a video from Bonnaroo of Pretty Light’s “I Know the Truth” and he immediately dived on in. Since then he has attended every live music festival from Spirit of Suwannee’s, Purple Hatters Ball (Jam Bands), to Let It Roll Drum & Bass Festival in the Czech Republic.

Chris has an eclectic palate for music; from Shpongle and Bassnectar to Oliver Heldens and Porter Robinson, he vibes with it all. He has traveled from coast to coast and around the world looking what he calls The Bear Necessities of Life; the simple things that make you smile, or you find visually moving. This pursuit and travels inspired Bearlosophy, his photographic journal of all his adventures. He aspires to travel the world taking photos for non-profit organizations or to work for one of the top EDM photography teams like aLIVE Coverage.

Sydney Grant

Sydney Grant

Correspondent | Oregon

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between.

Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.

Michelle Mendoza

Michelle Mendoza

Correspondent / Photographer | Los Angeles

Southern California native currently based in New York, who loves some heavy bass with a dash of dubstep. I love attending festivals and meeting all the lovely souls that come with them. Also, I highly appreciate the food trucks at all the festivals. Much love. Capturing moments through a lens is how also one of my favorite pastimes. With a passion for both music and photography, a career as a music photographer only seemed fitting. Through music I have developed life long friendships as well as a new found family. I plan to continue exploring the music world though different genres, artists, and festivals and see where it takes me. Feel free to join me on my journey!
