Winter Music Conference will return to Miami on March 26-28 for the first time since 2019 to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
Miami Music Week has bustled with beats over the past few years, but while the partying continued on, the Winter Music Conference remained on ice outside of a virtual edition in 2021. The longest-running conference of its kind went on hiatus after the pandemic rocked the scene, but in 2025, it will be back and better than ever to celebrate its 35th anniversary in style. The upcoming edition of the Winter Music Conference will take place at its new home at Eden Roc Miami Beach on March 26-28 and will offer a bit of a twist compared to years past.
Much like past editions of the Winter Music Conference, those attending will have the opportunity to dive into some of the scene’s hottest topics during the conference’s panels, keynotes, and seminars. Sessions will be held throughout the conference to discuss critical industry issues ranging from agency dynamics and licensing to emerging social media platforms and brand longevity, with specific panels to be announced soon. Additionally, the WMC Kickoff Networking Mixer will allow attendees to brush shoulders with other industry members to start the festivities off properly.
That isn’t all that will be offered to those attending the Winter Music Conference. Thursday, March 27, will feature the official WMC Industry Pool Party to help everyone let loose with some exclusive performances at Eden Roc Miami’s pool. Then, there will be a collaboration between the EDMAs (Electronic Dance Music Awards) and the IDMAs (International Dance Music Awards), for the first-ever hybrid awards show to close out the conference on Friday, March 28.
That day, there will be an exclusive, invite-only event featuring live award announcements and surprise performances by artists. Industry juggernauts, respected journalists, and WMC Access Badge holders (subject to capacity) will be found at this exclusive event. All of this will lead seamlessly into Ultra Music Festival‘s first day, which will take place throughout the weekend.
