DESTRUCTO Debuts New Single “4Real” Today!

As a producer, artist, DJ and founder of HARD Events, Gary Richards aka DESTRUCTO always keeps it real. His approach to music spurned the creation of g-house, a new hip-hop and house hybrid in the form of 2014’s West Coast EP featuring rap heavyweights on the vocals. Earlier this week his newest track “4Real” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and iLoveMakonnen debuted publicly on Zane Lowe’s global Beats 1 show and Pitchfork. Today the song and corresponding video has been released for fans worldwide.

Beginning with vocals from Ty Dolla $ign, the track descends into DESTRUCTO’s signature style with additional production from Wax Motif and Styalz Fuego. iLoveMakonnen blesses the track with a verse, and everybody rocks together for the psychedelically sexy video directed by Agata Alexander.

DESTRUCTO debuted “4Real” live with Ty Dolla $ign and iLoveMakonnen as special surprise guests on January’s HOLY SHIP!. This release also marks a new dawn for DESTRUCTO as the first on his label Hits HARD. Look for a new EP from DESTRUCTO this spring! You can also catch him on the Ship2Ship Tour!

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
