Escape: Psycho Circus 2016 || Event Review

Escape: Psycho Circus had its fair share of both ups and downs over Halloween Weekend… Let me just preface this entire review by saying that I love Escape, I really do. It is one of my favorite Insomniac Events and one that I look forward to annually. Something I know is that the draw of events for people seems to really come down to two things, the lineup and the experience. Whichever you value more has never really mattered for Escape: Psycho Circus, as the Insomniac Production Team pulls out all the stops and they book quality names too. This year...

Escape: Psycho Circus 2016 || Tamlyn’s Experience

“Sinister sights and rattling sounds will shock, amaze, beguile, astound. Escape with us, and come inside — the Psycho Circus has arrived!” It’s only a matter of time until you succumb to the monstrous beats of Escape: Psycho Circus, Insomniac’s annual Halloween festival. Being my third year in attendance in a row, there’s no questioning that I can’t resist the temptation to dance alongside my fellow ghosts and ghouls. Challenges included everything from gate crashers to thousands of fake tickets that caused an immense amount of stress for attendees and event producer Insomniac Events. The lines to get in were complimented by issues with entering the Chopping Block (Damus Building), as the ever popular Bassrush brand continues to attract more attendees each year. Even we here...

Escape: Psycho Circus 2016 || Day 2 Recap

Escape: Psycho Circus 2016 has finally come to a close. What was your experience like? Let us know in the comments! After a solid start on Day 1, I was prepared and ready for what was in store on the second night of Escape: Psycho Circus! Arriving around 5:30pm, we did experience some slowness at the gate coming in, finally entering the venue around 6pm. Meeting up with some friends, and figuring out my schedule for the night was fairly easy. I caught the end of Mark Sixma’s set, which dropped some serious old school vibes towards the end. His...

Escape: Psycho Circus 2016 || Day 1 Recap

Day 1 of Escape: Psycho Circus is in the books, and we were once again stunned by the amazing levels of production Insomniac Events brought to the table! Well I’m here to tell you that just based off the first day of Escape: Psycho Circus, the event has gone above and beyond expectations. While there were reports of long lines, and videos of people jumping fences to sneak in, that must have all happened...
