Hot on the heels of STMPD RCRDS launch, Martin Garrix has announced yet another great addition to his repertoire. He will be hosting his very own radio show on Apple Music‘s Beats 1 radio station. The show will be hosted every two weeks starting on Friday’s (3pm LA/6pm NY/11pm LDN) and repeated Saturdays (3am LA/6am NY/11am LDN). He’s signed for a full season of showcases. It will feature a blend of his favorite bangers and exclusive first plays of his upcoming material. This weeks show will feature the up and coming producer Steve James.
“I can’t wait. I’ve been brainstorming with the team about what kind of feel we want for the show. We’re all super-excited. I’ll be here every two weeks mixing up my favourite tunes of the moment. So get ready: it’s going to be a massive two-hour session. I’ll be in the mix in the first hour, and the second hour we hand over the show each time to an artist who will be releasing music very soon on STMPD RCRDS.”
The debut show included tracks from Steve James, ZHU, Don Diablo, The Chainsmokers and Tritonal, Jason Caruso and of course Martin Garrix himself. Garrix will now be a part of tastemakers and selectors that include the likes of OWSLA, Elton John, Major Lazer, Dr. Dre, DJ Khaled, and Drake to name a few. I know that myself as well as many other fans will definitely be tuning in to listen to what I’m sure will be a well curated show.

Catch Martin Garrix playing during ADE this year!
The legendary Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the world’s biggest club, festival and dance related life style program. It takes place over 5 days in October (19-23). This year Martin Garrix will be headlining at Amsterdam RAI on October 21st. The next day (Oct. 22nd) Garrix will host his first very own all ages event. It will also be the only all ages event at ADE. Both shows are being produced by E&A Events.
“Can’t be more excited about this years Amsterdam Dance Event! It’s great I have total freedom to play as long as I want. And of course I am super happy for my fans under the age of 18, there are so many that have supported me from the very start and never had the chance to come to one of my shows… So stoked to make this finally happen!”
Since releasing Animals in 2013, Garrix has become a staple in the electronic dance music scene. This year alone he has launched a record label and his own radio show as well as securing a coveted closing set at Ultra Miami on the main stage. ADE is a large and amazing event on its own but having Garrix there really is a strong enhancement.
